Our company was founded on compassion and integrity starting with our founder, James Calloway. James passed away in 2019 but left an imprint on the Cincinnati business community that inspired many. James lived his life helping others which is why his cleaning business thrived so rapidly. He was a loving brother to his two siblings, a compassionate husband to his wife, Michele Calloway, and a caring Father to his daughter Ariana Michele, “his little owl”. He applied all of those same attributes in molding Calloway Cleaning and Restoration, making it one of the fastest growing Cincinnati cleaning and restoration companies in 2018. 

James loved helping people, plain and simple. He built a business helping people when they were trapped in their worst scenarios whether it be with fire and smoke damage, flooding and water damage, mold restoration, biohazard, crime scene, trauma cleanup or wind and storm damage. He didn’t stop there, he then continued to grow his cleaning business into more helpful services such as carpet cleaning, air duct and vent cleaning, furniture cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, odor removal, commercial flood cleanup, and more. The one thing James and his wife Michele Calloway began to fall in love with was the sincere reward of helping so many families and businesses while experiencing an unexpected vulnerable situation.

Their efforts didn’t stop in Cincinnati as Calloway Cleaning and Restoration quickly acquired a passion to help people all over the nation. When disasters occurred, James was the first to jump at the opportunity to provide relief to those in need; including going to Texas during the devastating Hurricane Harvey. James loved to travel but his work and his family were his life. One of his many mottos he lived by, “I work hard every day being an entrepreneur, husband and father”. James was always a giver and continued giving and helping others even after he left this earth by donating his organs to save the lives of 3 other individuals. That is the Calloway Cleaning way. That is who we are and those are the principles which drive our company forward today.
